No disrespect to Proton or any Proton users..but this is a total rip off..even the key is exactly the same as Lancer's la..pity all the Lancer user's out there..

Proton's Waja Replacement model which is essentially a rebadged Mitsubishi Lancer will be called the Proton Inspira (short for inspiration maybe, but inspiration to rebadge seems to be the only thing the new car will be remembered for).  I wonder what Jeremy Clarkson will have to say when he finds out about Proton's latest "achievement"! Some fun facts (unconfirmed) Pricing (solid colors) 1.8 Manual RM79,999 1.8 CVT (Auto) RM86,999 2.0 CVT Premium RM93,999 Comparatively a brand new CBU Lancer 2.0 EX (A) sells for RM120,980. What doesn't make sense about Proton's pricing is a full spec 2.0GT CVT without any import tax should cost under RM70k. |
